The Eve of the Solemnity of St . Joseph

Praised be Jesus Christ! Welcome to Gloriosa Virginum! With the launch of our new Blog we are happy to share with you our joy on the occasion of the entrance of our two newest candidates, Melani Slade of Trenton, ON and Erin Lang of Rochester Hills, Michigan. May Good St. Joseph bless each of them with holy perseverance and an ever increasing love for Our Lord and His Holy Mother Mary as Sisters of Our Lady Immaculate. Please check back later for photos!

We hope that Gloriosa Virginum will help you to come to know a bit more about the life and apostolate of our community and that it will provide you with an opportunity to learn more about the beautiful vocation to the religious life and experience its joys through the eyes of those who have already answered God's call to an ever deepening divine intimacy.

Happy Feast of St. Joseph to you all!

  1. Congratulations to both Melani and Erin, may our Holy Mother watch over and protect you both as you discern your call to the Religious Life with the good Sisters of Our Lady Immaculate! With the Grace of God you will join the Sisters when they come to visit Sister Dolores in London. My prayers are with you.

  2. Congratulations to Sisters of Our Lady Immaculate, Erin, Melani,The Langs and the Slades. I am thankful to God for calling you to share in the ministry of Jesus Christ and Our Blessed Mother in the Community Life of the Sisters. I entrust you humbly to the paternal and maternal protection and intercession of St. Joseph and Our Blessed Mother. You will be in my prayers and please remember to reflect on why you feel called initially, what you are called to do or to be, where you felt to, how you felt called, who called you to what, where and when. Always make effort to be happy with the Eucharistic Jesus and the Beloved Immaculate Mother. Thank you for accepting your call. May God's divine will be always your peace as you undergo formation in living out your evangelical vows of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience.

  3. Our prayers, our thoughts, our minds, our hearts are with you Erin and Melanie as you begin this new journey with Our Lord Jesus Christ. As Erin's grandparents, we really have to say that we are still awe-struck by this wonderful blessing, this wonderful gift of a religious vocation - a gift not only to you, but to all of your family, and God's larger family of the church and of the world. Praise be to God! Know that grandparents pray hard and often for their grandchildren. We will continue those prayers now more than ever, for you, and for all of the Sisters of Our Lady Immaculate, that you may know the rich blessings Our Lord gives to those who seek Him first.
